Classic SF, here we go! Start in beautiful bayside North Beach and use the epic Filbert Steps to climb up to Coit Tower and enjoy views reaching from the Bay Bridge to the Golden Gate Bridge. Visit hidden parks with picture-perfect views and explore a dizzying maze of stairways and alleyways, including a dirt road in the middle of the city and Macondray Lane, which spawned the ​Tales of the City ​books, movie, and Netflix series. Zig Zag your way up San Francisco’s most famous street—Lombard Street—and visit beautiful Saints Peter and Paul Church where Joe DiMaggio and Marylin Monroe shot their wedding photos.

Starting in Union Square, climb up to Nob Hill and visit beautiful Grace Cathedral. See cable cars in motion at the Cable Car Museum and taste Chinatown’s history at the Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory. Reminisce with the Beat Generation at City Lights Books and check out the famous Transamerica Pyramid  and its redwood trees. Learn about the beginnings of modern San Francisco in three neighborhoods packed with Gold Rush and 1906 earthquake history.

Nature lovers, this one’s for you! Starting in the heart of the Presidio—the Main Post—and leading to the Golden Gate Bridge, this route has been crafted to highlight the area’s art, history, and nature. Visit three large scale installations by world-renowned artist Andy Goldsworthy. Learn about the Presidio’s 220 years as a military base. And walk peaceful eucalyptus and cypress-lined trails as well as sandy cliffs with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and the Golden Gate Bridge. With 24 miles of trails, you won’t want to miss the best hiking neighborhood in all of San Francisco.

SURF & TURF

Conquer San Francisco by land and by sea! With our Surf & Turf package you get an urban hike and a Bay Cruise with Adventure Cat Sailing Charters.

•  Take a 1pm or 3pm Adventure Cat sail
• Tours can be done on different days, but you'll need to choose a Saturday, 9:30am hike and a 3pm sail to do both tours the same day.
